"My son attended Ladybirds for two years from the age of two and a half, and I can't recommend the pre-school highly enough. I myself was urged to try the Ladybirds by the leader of a local church playgroup, and many other parents told me how much their children, some very shy, had developed socially since being in the care of Ladybirds. It is a small intimate setting, which means the children get so much more attention than larger nurseries I have experienced.
The devoted staff are totally engaged in guiding and caring for the children, and again, the commitment is clear to parents, as it is above and beyond. My son was a little nervous when he started but quickly settled and benefited from the fun routines such as snack time. The encouragement from Ladybirds building his confidence was consistent right up to when he needed to prepare to leave for reception at school.
There was always such a variety of role play and craft activities and so much fun to be had in the garden area with thoughtful educational toys. Ladybirds is a beautiful unique village environment and my son always loved seeing horses trotting past and enjoying the country views, yet it is so close by car to the centre of Brentwood.
My son made so many friends and learned so much about the world around him. He definitely reached his full potential as well as surpassing our expectations with his verbal contributions during circle time. The staff worked so hard, I really didn't want him to leave!"

"Ladybird Kindergarten is one of those places that remind us we are in God’s country.
In spite of my initial worries and fears, when I first visited this place, I felt strangely... relaxed. We - me and my 3-year old son, were warmly welcomed around here without all the usual fuss on top of the stressful buzz and noise in the nurseries and pre-school groups. As a mother of 4, I’ve seen quite a few places like these. And yet - nothing Quite like this one.

Why? Where does the difference come from, I wondered.
The answer became clear to me on our second visit. It was the person behind all this. To me, Chris Harvey, the manager of Ladybird Kindergarten, is something of an unique mixture of our best teachers at school and the favourite aunt/ cousin we have. No wonder everyone here feels nice and easy. You’re obviously not at home, and yet, don’t feel like far away from it.

And speaking about the place, I really need to mention a few more words: wide open, bright space organised in at least 7 playing/ educational and really fun and diverse areas.

The building itself is situated within a mile or less from one of the beautiful national parks in this area and surrounded by woods and plenty of fresh air. Undoubtedly, if the place was a carrot, it’d been pure organic! And before anyone imagines Hansel and Gretel’s lonely house in the woods, the good news is despite all the nature around Ladybird, it’s not an isolated pitch and has a friendly family neighbourhood as it’s situated in Warley.

So what better than being a pre-schooler here? Well, I’ve already got an answer... to be it’s proud parent!"
